I have extremely dry skin. That's why I was so excited to get to try the Glow Up Duo from CheekyGlo. Here are my gross dry ankles after using the glove. The exfoliating glove is a physical exfoliator. All it requires to remove your dead skin cells is a bit of water and some elbow grease. It preps the skin so well for the body oil. The body oil is my favorite product out of the duo. This oil smells so good, literally like a bowl of peaches. She's more than just a pretty face though. The oil contains jojoba, peach kernel, and argan oils and vitamin E to hydrate and nourish the skin. Just look at that glow. Definitely try out CheekyGlo products if you want to glow like me.

If you're a fake tan girly like me and want the perfect tan, you have to try out CheekyGlo. We all know if you want a good tan, the skin prep is where it's at. First soak under the water for about 5 minutes, then going in with the glove and back scrubber, we're going to exfoliate away that dead skin and old fake tan, leaving it smoother and clearing any congestion. You can just see those dead skin cells and tans scrubbing straight off. Then further prepping the skin and shaving our legs. Now we're ready to moisturise with the body oil. I am in love with this 2-in-1 glove so much. Having been a long time user of Cheeky Glo, I have been using the exfoliating glove alone once weekly for a few months. I swear you can actually feel the difference straight away.
If you're not doing this in your everything shower, you are not clean. I used to think I was doing everything right. Shaving, scrubbing, body wash, all of it, but then also fully neglecting my back. This is a macro lens view of my skin before and after my fortnightly skin reset. This is the short version, and this is the long version. After steaming my face in the shower, I used my Rimi cleanser and cheekyglo silk face mint to gently exfoliate. Over exfoliating can damage your skin barrier, which is why I stick to a fortnightly routine. Next, I'm going to try a new face mask, actually. This is the Loops mask from Mecca. This took me ages to find and even longer to figure out how to put on, but it's really nice. I love it. Next, I'm going to go straight into dermaplaning. Always disinfect your blades with alcohol. I'm using the Mixsoon bean essence to protect and lubricate the skin, as well as lift dead skin cells. I'll leave you guys to watch this part. After wiping off all the dead skin cells and hair, I finished my routine as normal with toner, more essence, and moisturizer. I love love love this product, I personally bought the kit in the attached photo! The make up removers and body oil (amazing stuffs check it out) The body mitts and face mitt (black for my feet and pink for body) just work so well with my skin type! As a hairdresser and a haircare junkie, I am always on the hunt to try a new hair mask. The packaging is so cute and this stuff smells so nice. After shampooing my hair, I got out of the shower and towel dried it and then applied the hair mask generously to my mid-lengths and ends, avoiding the roots. Not only is my hair naturally dry, but it is also color treated and bleached, so my hair needs all the help and repair it can get. After applying the mask, I brushed it through and left it on for 5-10 minutes, and then using the little scalp brush that they give you, I gave myself a little scalp massage, which is really good for your scalp health. Great body oil 🤩 Not so great packaging
I bought a bundle which contained this body oil. I’ve already used it three times and I absolutely love it. It makes my skin feel incredibly and smells like a dream. However, the packing is terrible. The bottle I received had a screw-top cap, which gives me poor mobility over the flow of oil leading to spilling everywhere - all over the floor, on the side of the bottle and wherever I put the product down, which leads to a lot of product wastage and leaves a mess pictured in the image below. I would re-purchase if the CheekyGlo team could assure me I would receive the body oil with the pump style dispenser as shown in some of the images of the product. The body oil is worth the money, however I hate the mess and product wastage caused by this packaging, especially such an expensive product.

I bought this mostly for the dry skin around my toes and the front of my feet because nothing else was really helping. Didn’t think it would do much at first, but after a few days the peeling started and it actually worked way better than I expected. The rough skin on the balls of my feet peeled off heaps and my feet felt way softer afterwards. Definitely recommend if you have any dry patches on your feet!

Life changing shower filter
As someone who suffered from eczema, sensitive skin and hair loss I was recommended by a friend to try a shower filter. After 1.5 month of using it during winter time, I noticed it was the first winter I don’t feel like my skin is itchy all the time and definitely notice less hair on my floor lol. I bought the complete set - my fav ones are the lavender, smells absolutely divine and so calming! I am also shocked by the all the dirts that filtered out, the comparison is insane!

im honestly not sure if this was a good idea because after installing it in my home shower, it caught sooo much gunk in just a few weeks Im now so grossed out by all other showers without filters, especially in gyms and changerooms 😭 I've already bought 2 more for my family because literally every single person needs one of these

I nearly gagged
I took this to bali and didn’t think much of if until i unscrewed the shower head from the hotel and nearly gagged from the rust and gunk I saw inside the pipe… i felt so much better knowing I had this cheekglo filter on me omg. No wonder i always break out in Bali and also this time I didn’t get sick i think because sometimes the shower water gets in my mouth which means the filter really works.

Not just a Shower Experience, it’s Life Changing!!
I’ve felt spoilt every time I jump into the shower, my itchiness & redness on chest and face has totally gone. The first time you use it you notice your skin feeling hydrated & a moisturised. An added bonus is that my shower no longer gets white residue on the tiles from the water. I’m so in love with this filter, it makes me smile every time I step Into the shower. The lavender smell is so pleasant, I wish you could smell it in the video, not too overpowering but enough to feel like you smell of it & it leaves your bathroom smelling beautiful. Saved my life tbh
I take this travelling with me everywhere because IYKYK water is nasty, especially in asia. This helps stop my skin from breaking out and my hair doesnt go dry and crusty. The worst thing about travelling is how the shower water gives me pimples and dandruff- but this filter honestly saves the day!! Fits in all handheld showers btw. Do yourself a favour and get one.

I took this with me travelling and I’m gobsmacked at how convenient it is and how different the water feels. Im literally in hongkong right now and took this to the hotel with me. Tbh I’m pretty scared of water in asia, I hear theres no proper treatment and filtering. Just look at all the gunk from the shower head when I removed it. Honestly fearing for my life. But the cheekyglo skinvita filter genuinely smells amazing, the water feels good and my mind is at ease. Its only been a couple days and i can see the filter ready changing colour… i cant imagine what itd be like if i showered here long enough… truly a 10/10 travel product.

I tried out the rose dew scented shower filter and I LOVE that my shower smells so good! My skin also feels smoother after using this compared to a normal shower, which usually leaves my skin dry and itchy. Couldn't recommend this product more! And I can't wait to try the other scents

I stuck this lil hook to the wall tiles in my shower 7 months ago and it only fell off recently. Mind you, the tiles are slightly textured, which isn't the ideal surface for the hook's adhesive and that's likely the reason it unstuck from my shower. I also had both a glove and a back scrubber hanging from it that entire time. It can handle more weight than you'd expect. I do wish that Cheekyglo offered other colours—since my ensuite tiles are almost black this colour looked a bit garrish. But that's the only thing I'd change about it. Well worth the price!
