Allen has always had a strong work ethic and previously worked in roles ranging from small business and customer service to sales and even consulting. This experience across a range of sectors gave Allen the confidence and drive to pursue his passion for developing premium skincare products and the results speak for themselves in the range and quality of CheekyGlo products.
Throughout his multifaceted career, Allen noticed a lack in resources and support for male self-care. Allen sought to forge a solution to this issue and make it normal for men to look after themselves. It quickly became one of Allen’s goals to create a brand that could transcend societal norms and support men who want to explore self-care and practice man-care. Looking after yourself should not be shunned, it should be encouraged.
Entrepreneurial Spirit
Since graduating from the University of Sydney (UYSD) with a degree in science (BSc), Allen has launched over a dozen businesses and created several well-known brands across Australia. This drive and entrepreneurial spirit, in combination with co-founder Xixi Liu’s years of experience as a skincare specialist, was the perfect match. CheekyGlo was born, and the business has never looked back.
